Aims
To enhance awareness of the problems of fraudulent certificates, anti-fraud measures and to develop methods to help reduce certificate fraud.

To improve co-operation among seafarer’s registers and training providers and increase the reliability in the process of certificate recognition.

All persons in the maritime sector involved in the verification of certificates of competency: Crew Managers, Ship Managers, Ship Owners, Agents and staff of Government Administrations, as well as training providers, third party overseas representatives of administrations who issue endorsements of recognition.
