Workshops

Dissemination will be achieved through an International Work Group in Riga, Latvia. The partnership will present the results and outcomes of the analysis as well as other achievements to an international audience embracing:

1 delegates from shipping universities and training providers

2 representatives of the employers' associations

3 representatives from seafarers' unions

4 dignitaries from diplomatic missions of seamen supply countries, and

5 maritime governmental authorities

The lasting success of an innovative project such as this is the wide-broadcasting of results in participating countries. All partners will actively take part in executing this dissemination strategy. Press releases will be published in English, German and Latvian to gain the widest possible local and international publicity for the project with output of an international conference.

Third party developers of curricula or maritime related content providers are invited to contribute to the generation of a future maritime library / knowledge and information system. They may identify this project result as a starting point to develop a meaningful tool for design and presentation of their own learner centred teaching applications.
